DENIS GRIESMER APPOINTED PRESIDENT, PIZZAMASTER® U.S. Distributor, MPM Food Equipment Group
Chicago, IL – July 17, 2023 – PIZZAMASTER® U.S. Distributor, MPM Food Equipment Group today announced that Denis Griesmer has been appointed as President of PIZZAMASTER® U.S. Distributor, MPM Food Equipment Group to accelerate growth and development of the PIZZAMASTER® oven brand across the U.S., reporting to Larry Nicholson, CEO of MPM Food Equipment Group, U.S.
“PIZZAMASTER® has had ten years of consistent, strong sales growth in our retail supermarket segment, in addition to now successfully growing in the pizzeria and restaurants segments across the U.S. We developed a close working relationship with the elite pizza professionals, World Pizza Champions™ who are dedicated to the craft and respect of pizza making. We believe our home market for Chicago pizza, coast-to-coast pizza festivals and pizza oven baking expertise now positions us to accelerate sales of our PIZZAMASTER U.S. business,” said Nicholson.
Denis has worked in foodservice equipment manufacturing sales since 2001, holding senior roles with Bizerba Food Service, Globe Equipment Company, Scotsman Ice Systems, Ice-O-Matic, Enodis plc (Welbilt Inc.) and in retail with Hobart Corporation (ITW Food Equipment Group).
“Over the span of my career, I have had the benefit of working with and knowing Denis in different roles with equipment manufacturers in the foodservice and food retail industries and have always been so impressed by his drive to grow the business, his enthusiasm is contagious, and the exceptional relationships he builds with operators, foodservice sales representatives, equipment dealers, and kitchen equipment design consultants. Most recently, experience at Bizerba working closely with QSR operators, including Subway® and the meat-slicer roll-out to over 21,000 U.S. Subway® Franchisees, Inspire Brands-Jimmy Johns Sandwiches®, Restaurant Brand International’s-Firehouse Subs®, Potbelly Sandwich Works®, Penn Station East Coast Subs®, and emerging restaurant chains including Port of Subs®, Baldino’s Giant Jersey Subs®, Erbert & Gerbert’s Sandwich Shops®, EM’s Subs®, Tallarico’s Boardwalk Subs®, and Cheba Hut Toasted Subs®.
Denis graduated from The University of Akron with a degree in Business Administration and Finance. Denis enjoys his six grandchildren, being outdoors, walking, bicycling, hiking, kayaking, and beach shelling, and is a Porsche 911 enthusiast. He lives in the Tampa Bay Area, Florida, with his wife Rene, who is always so supportive of him and the foodservice industry and his best friend, Buddy.
